EU supports direct contacts and engagement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, TurkicWorld reports referring to EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar.
"Important development following last week’s Brussels meeting. EU is supportive of direct contacts & engagement," he wrote in response to the publication of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister about a telephone conversation with an Armenian colleague.
