BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. A phone call took place today between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty, TurkicWorld reports via the ministry.
The telephonic discourse underscored the criticality of advancing amicable relations and enhancing both bilateral and multilateral engagements between Azerbaijan and Egypt, predicated on a foundation of reciprocal trust.
The conversation also underscored the imperative to optimize synergies within global institutions and multilateral paradigms, while amplifying collaborative initiatives that serve the strategic interests of both nations.
Discussions from the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) were also shared, along with the role of the event in the global fight against climate change. The potential for this event to create additional opportunities for Azerbaijani-Egyptian cooperation in green energy was noted.
Also, regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the call.
