Kyrgyzstan, Cuba discuss development of bilateral customs relations

Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2021. / Kabar / . Chairman of the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan Samat Isabekov took part in the International Customs Forum in Moscow, Kabar reported citing the press service of the Kyrgyz Customs Service.

Samat Isabekov held a bilateral meeting with Head of the General Customs of Cuba Nelson Enrique Cordoves, the press service of the Kyrgyz Customs Service said Friday.

During the meeting, the heads of the Customs Services of Kyrgyzstan and Cuba discussed the development of bilateral relations in the field of customs.

The Cuban side prepared one of the relevant documents in this area, which will serve as the first step in strengthening the interaction between the customs services of the two countries, and invited a Kyrgyz customs delegation to sign a mutual protocol in the area of customs affairs.

Chairman Isabekov expressed hope that further cooperation with Cuba would give impetus to the development of bilateral relations in the field of customs.

The International Customs Forum is traditionally supported by the AEB.

The key goal of the Forum is to create an effective stage for exchanging experiences and establishing G2G and G2B relations in the field of foreign trade activity.

The Forum will feature both the exhibition and discussion sessions, where will be considered a wide range of issues related to the customs administration improvement, export and import maintenance as well as the development of foreign trade activity on the whole.
