Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to enhance cooperation at level of municipalities

Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliyev discussed with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan Rapil Zhoshybayev the issue of intensifying cooperation in various areas at the level of municipalities of the two countries, Kabar reported citing the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office.

The sides also discussed bilateral relations and the installation of a monument to Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev in Bishkek and a monument to hero of the Kyrgyz epic Manas in Nur-Sultan.

The Kazakh ambassador thanked the capital’s Mayor’s Office for its assistance in holding the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan, and also assured of comprehensive assistance during the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Nur-Sultan.

Following the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of development and strengthening friendly relations between the two countries, and expressed confidence in further mutually beneficial cooperation.
