BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 19. A round table of the Azerbaijan-Turkish media platform is taking place in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
The event is being organized with the support of the Social Research Center (STM), the press service of the Türkiye Communications Directorate in Baku, and the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The topic of the round table is "5 years of the Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan and Türkiye on strategic cooperation in the media field: a review of joint activities and future goals."
The event is attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Social Research Center, MP Zahid Oruj, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Press Council Rashad Majid, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Professor Birol Akgun, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC Rovshan Mammadov, General Director of the Center for Analytics and Information REAL Mir Shahin Aghayev, Vice President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) from Azerbaijan, MP Sevil Mikayilova, MP Vugar Rahimzade, Deputy Chairman of the Social Research Center's Board Tahira Allahyarova, and several media executives.
