Bishkek hosted on Thursday a meeting between Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turgunbaev and representatives of the National Institute of Banking and Finance NIBAF.
The NIBAF delegation included Chairman of the Shariah Boardl at the State Bank of Pakistan and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Irshad Ahmad Aijaz, Head of Islamic Finance Policy Department of the State Bank of Pakistan Muhammad Arish Usmani, member of the working committee on awareness raising and capacity building Muhammad Najib Khan, and Deputy Director of NIBAF Chaudhry Tabraiz Anwar, the press service of the National Bank reported.
During the meeting, the latest trends and prospects for the development of Islamic financing principles in Kyrgyzstan, the necessary measures for the further promotion of Islamic financing principles and increasing the potential of specialists involved in this area were discussed.
