BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. On September 27, Remembrance Day, Azerbaijan Airlines - AZAL’s management and team visited Victory Park, which is under construction in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
They laid flowers on the memorial stone, paying deep respects to the memory of the martyrs who heroically fought for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Thanks to the exceptional courage and dedication of the sons of our country, the thirty-year occupation ended in just 44 days. Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, including Azerbaijan’s cultural capital, Shusha, were liberated from the enemy.
According to the decree issued by President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev on December 2, 2020, September 27 is observed as Remembrance Day.
On this day, the Azerbaijani people solemnly honor the soldiers and officers who gave their lives for the freedom and unity of Azerbaijan.
